Great post! I love going to public worship, and I do get a lot of good teaching there, but where I experience the most growth is in the small group setting. We can really get to know each other and hear each other's testimony "in the rough" without the "editing" of content that is often seen in larget group (public) settings. There is also an accountability factor, and that is no small thing.
Just as an aside, how interesting that you posted this BEFORE our meeting today, and that Tiffany shared at the meeting about her church doing the "house church thing". I love to see God work that way in our lives.
