O Holy Night- A libtard Christmas carol
This past Sunday at church we sang O Holy Night , and I'm shocked at the liberal bias in this carol I thought was so innocent and supported me, Jesus, and 'murica. The liberal part is buried in the third verse. Truly He taught us to love one another; His law is love and His gospel is peace. Chains shall He break for the slave is our brother; And in His name all oppression shall cease. Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we, Let all within us praise His holy name. Christ is the Lord! O praise His Name forever, His power and glory evermore proclaim. His power and glory evermore proclaim. At first I thought it must have been written by one of those Lincoln lovers with all that talk about setting slaves free. But it's origins are even worse than that. It is based on a poem by an atheist French poet, to the tune by a German, and arranged by a Unitarian minister.
