Collapsed Episcopal Cathedral in Port-au-Prince
I've been wondering about this beautiful Episcopal Cathedral we parked at in Port-au-Prince when I was there last February. I know the Catholic cathredral up the street had collapsed but I hadn't heard about the Holy Trinity Cathedral, aka Cathédrale Sainte Trinité of Elise Episcopal d'Haiti.

In this picture, the church is to my left, my friends are getting out from our vehicles, the city center is ahead, down the street. Notice those trees, because, as you'll see in the video below, those are the only things still standing.
It was hard to be so close to the building and capture its scale.
This building is heading up the street away from the government center towards the Catholic Cathedral. In the video, this building is still standing.

We saw from a distance the Catholic Cathedral which also collapsed.
Like I said, I knew what happened to the Catholic cathedral but not the Episcopal one, until last night. My wife sought to en-culturate me by bringing me to an Evensong service with a special presentation by the Anglican Singers of St. James Episcopal Church in New London. The service included guided congregational prayers. One such prayer was for the collapsed cathedral in Port-au-Prince. It was deflating to me. So I looked up the evidence on-line.
